I’ve always had a unique problem: I have a SUPER common name, but an unusual way of spelling it. This means that I missed out on all of those cheesy pencils, key-chains or anything with my name on it. While it’s totally not the end of the world, an 8 year old version of myself would beg to differ. Now that I’m older, if I can put Ashleigh on ANYTHING, I will.

Since it’s summer and there are frequent parties, I thought I would show you how to easily make fun wine glasses. Yes, that whole permanent marker and Solo cup technique might still work for the kids, but once you learn how easy it is to make your own fun glasses, you’ll be addicted.

You all know, I LOVE a nice glass of wine. That being said, with back to school around the corner, we can’t be forking over $20-30 per bottle. I’m always on the lookout for delish wine and Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi is our go-to. It’s just meant to be shared! We grab the large 1.5L bottles before heading to any BBQ.

For a white, I highly suggest the Sauvignon Blanc for a crowd. It’s semi-sweet, not too dry and a perfect chilled treat for the summer. It’s great with chicken or fish, even turkey burgers or salad! For a red, the Cabernet Sauvignon is my go-to. This red holds up it’s flavor with beef dishes, like burgers or even a hearty veggie dish.

So this is proof that ANYONE can do these and still wow the crowd! The glitter is completely optional, but how fun is it?!

Use any color paint marker to add names, quotes or even fun patterns. I just used freehand, but you can totally use a stencil too! Tip: this would be SO fun for a bachelorette party or shower!

The paint marker dries very quickly. I will say that these are HAND WASH only, just quickly wash out after use. For a party, you can send your guests home with the cups for a nice little treat. Another cute idea would be to make 2 for a hostess and give her a bottle of Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi.
