How to block someone on Steam
Step 1: Access the Steam app on your PC and click on your name in the top menu to open a menu. With the menu open, click on “Friends”.
Step 2: Search for the contact you want to block and open your profile.
Step 3: with the contact’s profile open, select the “More” item.
Step 4: with the menu open, select the option “Block communication”.
Step 5: a pop-up will open. Click “Yes, block” to proceed
Step 6: another pop-up will appear informing you that the action has been completed. Click “OK” to finish.
How to unlock someone on Steam
Step 1: Access the “Friends” tab in the Steam app on your PC and, in the left side menu, select the “Blocked” item. Then, open the profile of the contact you want to unblock.
Step 2: click on the “More” item to open a menu and then select the option “Unblock communication”.
Step 3: with the pop-up open, click “Yes, block” to proceed.
Step 4: another pop-up will appear informing you that the action has been completed. Click “OK” to finish.
